1st - First Rebuild of a Volkswagen “09G” Transmission - Spring / Summer 2008
We did one of the very first rebuilds of a Volkswagen 09G A/T out of a VW New Beetle.
And this is - like all our other rebuilds - a 100% Decontamination Rebuild.
Meaning: complete (!) disassembly, replacement of all soft parts, complete Valve Body overhaul with electrics, and replacement of broken hard parts (gears, planets, etc).
How do we know?
We received the very first rebuild parts off the assembly line;
and some we had to make and adjust ourselves.
With these components now available (and our expertise), customers driving VW’s with a defective 09G unit now also have an alternative to a dealer-installed exchange unit.
